That the Newington Historical Society Could Lengthen Your Life

It’s true! According to a previously published report in one of the medical journals, your
chances of dying in the next year will be greatly reduced if you take an active part in a social
   organization.

Volunteers contribute greatly to the success of any historical Society, in many instances,
the only link between the organization and the community.

Consider joining a committee. Only a few hours a month could offer you a chance to
become involved in your community. Volunteering for the Newington Historical Society offers
you an opportunity to learn of our heritage as you contribute to an organization whose primary
goal is to promote interest and appreciation of Newington history.
